On October 18, millions of us are rising again to show the world: America has no kings, and the power belongs to the people.
The unsupported use case of Bix Frankonis’ disordered, surplus, mediocre midlife in St. Johns, Oregon—now with climate crisis, rising fascism, increasing disability, eventual poverty, and inevitable death.
Read the current manifesto. (And the followup.)
Rules: no fear, no hate, no thoughtless bullshit, and no nazis.

As one autistic white man to another: sorry, Nick Starr-Street, but even autistic people don’t get to go, “I don’t see race. I don’t see gender. I don’t see color. I don’t see any of that.” Or, as Ijeoma Oluo said on Twitter, “Fuck you, dude.”
It turns out, Nick Starr-Street is an infamous asshole. Not only because he tried to get a waitress fired for telling him to remove his Google Glass, but because he once told a Pulse shooting joke and Twitter-tagged an Orlando-based drag performer in it.
Gay married himself, at some point around 2016 he went full-bore MAGA and says, “LGBTQ is a hate group.”
The only place being autistic has in this story is the state of hyperfocus and co-morbid OCD that sent me down the rabbit hole of learning about this guy.
