Today’s “proof of life” photo (not a daily thing): one thing the early lockdown of our ongoing global pandemic scuttled were my quiet outings to sit outside a coffeeshop reading a book. After a month or two of Oregon starting to open up again with continuing mask requirements and social distancing measures, I’ve slowly started to reclaim this self-care habit, outside the locally-owned bakery that opened up just two blocks from my apartment.
